Laparoscopic instruments totaling 300 thousand UAH were handed over to the surgical department of the Zhytomyr Regional Clinical Hospital named after Herbachevsky.

The cost of a single such instrument is 50 thousand UAH.

The LigaSure system allows for the fast, reliable “sealing” of vessels and tissues during operations and offers the following advantages:

This assistance was made possible thanks to the support of Dave Obi from Canada, medical coordinator Oleksii Brzhezhytskyi, and Head of the Board of the Zhytomyr Community Foundation Zhanna Solovyova, who brought the equipment from Poland and handed it over to the Medical Director for Emergency and Surgical Work of the hospital, Vitalii Khomenko.
