6 laparoscopic handpieces, totaling 316.2 thousand UAH, were transferred to the surgical department of the Hertchevsky Zhytomyr Regional Clinical Hospital.

The cost of one such handpiece is 52.7 thousand UAH.

Laparoscopic handpieces are widely used in modern surgery for the effective and safe sealing of vessels and tissues, which reduces the risk of bleeding during surgery, the likelihood of complications, allows for shorter operation times, and accelerates healing.

These modern, high-cost medical instruments were received by the Zhytomyr Community Foundation from Oleksii Brzhezytskyi. They will help medics save even more lives.
