The charity street football tournament ZFL x Prestige | Charity Cup 3×3 took place in Zhytomyr on May 14. The event was held in the very center of the city — on Mykhailivska Street. Nine teams participated in the competition, which was played in a 3-on-3 format.

The tournament had not only a sporting but also a charitable goal — raising funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) within the framework of the “Zhytomyr Drone” project.

The winning team was “Prestige,” with “911 Studio” taking 2nd place and “Kushtra” taking 3rd place.

Artem Chuprynskyi, captain of the winning team, highlighted both the sporting and social significance of the tournament:

“Besides the game, today we did a good deed – raised funds for a drone for our military. There were many spectators, children, gifts, and good emotions. This is an example for the youth – that you can spend time usefully,” he said.

According to co-organizer Ivan Tymoshchuk, this format of events has several positive effects at once:

“We popularize sports, encourage youth and children to be active. And most importantly – we motivate people to donate through sports. It works. We have many plans for this season, and we will tell you about them soon,” noted Ivan Tymoshchuk.

During the tournament, players and spectators actively donated. As a result, 50,000 UAH was collected, which will be directed towards purchasing a Mavic drone for the servicemen of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade “Magura.”

“The ‘Zhytomyr Drone’ project is an initiative of the Zhytomyr Community Foundation jointly with the Zhytomyr City Council. We are focused on supporting the military specifically through technology – procurement of drones, equipment, and components. When the ‘Prestige’ team approached us with the idea of holding a tournament for charity, we immediately supported it. This is exactly the case where sport and charity work together. We always join initiatives that support our defenders and will continue to do so,” said Zhanna Solovyova, Head of the Board of the Zhytomyr Community Foundation.
