400,000 hryvnias were raised to support the AFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine) during the Charity Football Tournament in memory of Vitalii Osinskyi and all fallen heroes.

On April 27, a significant event took place at the Zhytomyr stadium “Spartak Arena” – a charity football tournament initiated and organized by FC “PRESTIGE” in cooperation with the Zhytomyr Community Foundation and a number of partner organizations. The event aimed to honor the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine and support our soldiers currently defending the state.

The tournament became a true celebration of sport and unity. It was attended by football stars, famous bloggers, fans, and simply caring people.

Spectators had the opportunity to enjoy exciting matches, feel energized, participate in a raffle for unique prizes, and win a bicycle.

Ivan Tymoshchuk, the initiator of the event and a member of FC “PRESTIGE,” shared how the idea for the tournament came about:

“It all started with the idea of organizing a friendly match for our team. But we realized we could do more – and thus the intention to organize a tournament in memory of Vitalii Osinskyi was born. Why in honor of this fallen soldier? Because he is my friend and best man, my wife’s brother. This is the least I could do for him. I am very satisfied with the results of the tournament. With the help of partners, everything turned out great. This football tournament is the first for us, but not the last. We are already negotiating with media teams from Kyiv and Lviv and plan to register ‘PRESTIGE’ for the Ukrainian Media Football Championship.”

Zhanna Solovyova, Head of the Board of the Zhytomyr Community Foundation, spoke about the goal of the fundraising effort:

“For our Foundation, supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been one of the key areas of work since the beginning of the full-scale war. Therefore, we could not stay away from such a charitable event. The 400,000 hryvnias raised during the tournament were transferred to the account of the Zhytomyr Community Foundation and will be directed toward purchasing equipment according to the requests of the 190th and 199th training centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We sincerely thank everyone who contributed!”
