On January 10, the Zhytomyr Community Foundation donated one more car to support the defenders.

Zhytomyr Community Foundation purchased Nissan Navara for border guards for the funds raised by the team of Zhytomyr Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

For several months, the workers of this facility have been transferring their one-day earnings to the account of the Zhytomyr Community Foundation.

The head of the Zhytomyr Community Foundation Zhanna Solovyova shared that the total amount of money transferred by the employees is more than 375 thousand UAH . Part of this amount ( 279 thousand 314 UAH ) was spent on a car. The remaining 96 thousand 335 UAH  are to be used for the needs of our defenders in the future.

Acting Director General of the State Institution “Zhytomyr Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine” Ivan Kyrychuk noted that the staff decided to continue fundraising until Ukraine wins the war

Yevhen Babiychuk, Colonel, the Deputy Head of the 9th Border Guard Detachment, on behalf of all the soldiers gratefully accepted the gift.

“I am truly grateful for your generosity and joint efforts, that enabled the purchase of this wonderful vehicle, that is going to be used efficiently on the state border in Zhytomyr oblast. This vehicle can carry minor weapons, UAVs, etc. The vehicle will now be transferred right to the best border guard unit. New divisions will soon be deployed in our area (Zhytomyr, Rivne and Kyiv regions). Therefore, such vehicles are essential for prompt relocation of personnel,” noted Yevhen Babiychuk.
