This time, our legal #Meaningful Meetings were held in candlelight. We talked with lawyer Yulia Pastukh about important matters and joked over warm tea and coffee.

The new residents who moved to Zhytomyr because of the war were particularly interested in various issues, including:

• getting a compensation for the destroyed property caused by Russian occupants: what documents should be prepared, how to write an application and where to apply;

• how to protect yourself from troubles and possible dangers if people evacuated yet their car remained in the temporarily occupied territories;
• medical care, disability certificate, etc.

The attendees had the opportunity to receive free legal services, to socialize and learn new helpful information.

The  “Integration program for war victims” is implemented by the Zhytomyr Community Foundation within the grant competition “Ukraine crises” with the support of the Global Fund for Community Foundations.
